Full Overview
Bipartisan dining set in a contemporary, French-inspired bistro is the vision of the Caucus Room Brasserie, a more casual outpost of the former Caucus Room in Penn Quarter.
Located in the Westin Georgetown, adjacent to Latin speakeasy and sister restaurant Boveda, the Brasserie offers succulent steaks like the Cote de Boeuf (bone-in, dry-aged prime rib) and a variety of gourmet bites, such as aptly named bipartisan burgers and a breakfast sandwich of pork belly and fried eggs.
This steakhouse, unlike its predecessor, feels less like a good ol’ boys club and more like a casual European bistro with its airy, earth-toned interior, vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and French glass doors that open to an enclosed courtyard with outdoor seating. Guests on the go can grab a snack or cocktail at the elegant marble-topped bar.
With a selection of small and large plates like gnocchi and shrimp normandy, diners of various political leanings are more likely to pass the plate than pass a bill at the Caucus Room Brasserie -- appropriate for a place aimed at bringing parties together.
