Full Overview

If you do not see availability, please feel free to call the restaurant directly.   The menu at Cava Mezze can excite even the most frequent eater of tapas-style dining. With more than 70 options ranging from cold mezze to braised mezze to seafood mezze, it can be a challenge to choose just a few plates at this contemporary Greek tapas restaurant. If you can't decide, the servers’ recommendations are often spot on, so just ask. The restaurant offers complimentary pita bread with extra virgin olive oil, kalamata olives and mashed roasted red peppers. As if that is not enough,, the “Dip Tasting” offers a sampling of Cava’s six signature dips including taramosalata (whipped salmon roe), crazy feta (feta and jalapeno) and ktipiti (feta, roasted red pepper and thyme) – to name a few. The best part is you can use the dips with other plates. Soak in the high-energy vibe with a refreshing mango mojito, Delirium Tremens draft or ouzo. If you notice mini dinner shows at other tables, those patrons ordered saganaki – two blocks of fried kefalograviera, which is hard sheep’s-milk cheese, soaked in brandy – and it’s been set aflame at the table. Main dishes range from simple, traditional classics like souvlaki, meatballs and moussaka (braised lamb, eggplant, bechamel and truffled crumbs) to more modern Greek-inspired plates, like honey-and-walnut-covered fried chicken pops served with Greek yogurt. Then there’s the Cava Half Smoke, a spicy beef hot dog with a Mediterranean twist. Finally, treat your sweet tooth to a Greek tradition – loukoumades – doughnuts covered in honey, cinnamon and walnuts.
