Full Overview
Granville Moore's accepts a portion of reservations online to ensure tables are available for walk-ins. If a short-term reservation is not available here, we'd recommend calling the restaurant to check on the wait time.
Granville Moore’s invites you to hunker down and linger.
The dimly lit row house -- which is named for the doctor who once lived on the top floor and treated poor patients on the ground floor -- features exposed brick, reclaimed wood and antique brick-a-brack. The result of this combination? A cozy pub that inspires loitering on cold, damp days or provides refuge in the sweltering heat of Washington summers.
The Belgian menu changes seasonally, but you can always count on a variety of mussels, from those soaked in blue cheese, pork belly and white wine to those cooked in curry and coconut milk. Not to mention, french fries served with ketchup, truffle-flavored mayo or other dips. The restaurant also serves sandwiches and burgers, including a bison burger and steak-and-cheese sammy.
And of course, there’s the beer. The restaurant pours over 50 Belgian brews by the bottle and has 11 on tap. Comfort food and plenty to drink? Sounds like the kind of place where a person could get really comfortable and stay awhile.
