Full Overview
Named after a coveted table at the late Brasserie Perrier, Table 31 is Chris Scarduzio's steak-and seafood-heavy Italian bistro, where modern meets classic in the food and in the decor. The 10,000 square-foot space spans three floors of the towering Comcast Center, and boasts a dining room, semi-private lounges, and a two-story bar area. And that’s not counting The Plaza Café that’s open in warmer months: a sunny outdoor patio along JFK Boulevard that is made for people watching and lighter fare like salads and antipasto.
Both spaces, indoors and al fresco, are a power-luncher’s dream. You’ll find a well-heeled crowd and a solid pizza or pasta that will impress any out-of-town client. But the business crowd doesn’t disappear once the clock strikes five: Happy hour at the bar -- and out on The Plaza -- is full of executives and young professionals alike, as is the dining room during dinner.
Chef Scarduzio has created a menu of classic Italian dishes with a twist -- and the concept of the restaurant has recently been revamped to showcase the same time-honored favorites with a lighter touch. Highlights include short rib ravioli and duck confit pizza, fresh seafood staples, and prime cuts of beef. Begin with a plate of the antipasto misto, order a few filets and six-ounce wine pours, and you’ll have a deal signed – or a date wooed -- before the check arrives.
