A Taste of Paris in Philadelphia
- Place your order two days in advance to take advantage of the antique duck press, which is wielded tableside to create a show-stopping meal for two, available Tuesday - Thursday. (In the summer, lobsters are put take the place of the fowl.)
- A cheese and charcuterie board features both local and imported meats and fromage, along with the don’t-miss terrine du jour.
Good to Know
- There is no bar seating – nor waiting area – in the petite space, so reservations are a very good idea.
- In addition to the dozen wines by the glass on the menu, there are often special add-ons available, listed on the chalkboard with the soup and desserts of the day.
·Terrine du Jour
·Master Chef of France “Brut” is a sparkling blend available only at restaurants of “maîtres cuisiniers.”
·Rustic reds like Fitou will suit the rich food well.
·La Captive Poire Williams (pear brandy) or Calvados (apple brandy) are both perfect for an after-dinner sip.
